Imagine that you can travel back in time to 1999. Are you able to identify the main changes society has witnessed during last 20 years?

Yes, you are right! We are part of a constantly changing society, which is witnessing an amusing social and technological transformation, occurring at a faster pace and with greater scope, affecting almost every aspects of our daily life.

In this new evolving context, we need to take the challenge of rethinking our educational models, in order to provide learners with the ability to develop some specific skills and values, necessary to be active members of today’s world.

The STEAM model (developed around 5 thematic areas: Science (S), technology (T), engineering (E), art (A) and mathematics (M)) seeks to integrate and develop scientific-technical and artistic subjects in a single interdisciplinary framework.

Let´s explore how all STEAM areas are connected to our reality, shake your curiosity and improve your skills!

Since July 2020, the STEAM – Learning Resources to promote STEAM values and competences in adult learners project has been recognised with the STEAM Euskadi Label, awarded by the Department of Education of the Basque Government and the Basque Agency for Innovation – INNOBASQUE, within the framework of the 1st STEAM Euskadi Sariak Awards.
